From soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical chord - her lifeline to the placenta - is growing thicker and stronger. Technically, her skeleton is changing and is fast developing. She weighs about 5 ounces now and is around 5 inches long from head to bottom.
No wonder Joyie sometimes feels pain inside. It's as if the baby is swimming. Perhaps the baby really is because she can now move her joints. Her sweat glands are starting to develop too. Joyie on the other hand feels a bit off balance or an unsteady feet sometimes. She was advised to wear flat shoes to reduce the possibility of taking a tumble, and to avoid situation with high risk of falling.
